Day 40

Today was pretty laid back. I went to the Eugene Delacroix Museum this morning. It was really small. It was actually the apartment he lived in when he was painting for Napoleon. We got to see some of his smaller works and some of his private collection. The best part was seeing his studio and the little courtyard in the back. I don't know if the courtyard was a part of his apartment when he was living there...

On the way to the museum, there was a funeral fat the St. Germain Cathedral for some famous person. Apparently, he worked in the film industry and he was also a poet...The French person we talked to said that Carla Bruni and Brigitte Bardot were inside. We didn't see them though.

Then we came back and I pretty much had class all day. We went over our final for Wine and Champagne Marketing...it's going to be a beast. Actually, I'm taking a break from studying right now and it's 1:49 AM. I'll probably be up all night...

Tonight we had a mandatory slide show that the Photo Journalism professor put together. It was so cute! I'm glad we went. He said that after the trip is over and all of his students (or anyone else with good pictures) submit their pictures too, he's going to burn the slideshow onto DVDs and give them all to us. Such a nice thing to do!

Tomorrow is going to be pretty crazy...I have my Marketing final at 8:30 AM and then I have two museums to go to. Then I have to get pictures of wine accessories and after that I have to come back to the FIAP to get ready! We get to go on a Seine Dinner Cruise tomorrow night. I can't wait. I'm sure it's going to be beautiful. And before that, my Marketing class will be celebrating with a huge bottle of champagne...so that will be fun!

I'm sure we'll all go out after the cruise, maybe even go to the Eiffel Tower. I'll try to update my blog, but if I don't you'll know why! Haha.

Love and miss y'all!
Allie
