Day 5

Great day so far today! I got to sleep in until 11 which was so amazing. And then I took my time getting ready and eating lunch before our Louvre trip. It was so unbelievable. To actually see the works that I have seen in books my whole life was such an amazing experience. I have so, so many pictures...too many to upload! I'll be glad to show everyone the pictures once I get home though! Tonight I have to go validate my Eurail pass and make our reservations for our train trips. I'm getting really nervous about it. I really wanted to do Monaco, Nice, Cannes, and St. Tropez this weekend, but it looks like that isn't really possible. Monaco and Nice should be amazing by themselves, but Cannes and St. Tropez would have been incredible too. Oh well, maybe next summer!

Tomorrow is a long and busy day. We have a planned field trip to Chantilly to see a castle (I'm not sure which one) from 7:45 to 5:20. When we get back, Alyson and I will be hurrying to pack and get to the train station. We'll be in Monaco by 9:15 in the morning if we get reservations on the train we want! I'll let y'all know what the final plans are once we have everything straight.
