Day 8

Today was pretty amazing. I'm convinced that Monaco is the best place on Earth. It is so beautiful. I just couldn't get over how truly beautiful everything was. The buildings, the water, the mountains, the people...they're all so perfect! It was like walking through a postcard. It's very clean too. I saw what looked like a garbage man sweeping up leaves. And there were only like, six of them in the street. But he got every one of them. It literally is perfect. And it was so easy to get around! Monaco itself is small, so everything is sort of built up on top of itself. And the people there were much more relaxed than the Parisians. There may have been some snickers from the sales girls in the expensive stores, but there was also a really helpful lady that let me try on Rolexes and everything! Speaking of watches, it was thousands of dollars less to buy one in Monaco. And when you get to customs back in America and pay your taxes, you just have to mail this voucher they give you and they refund you the money. So it's tax free on top of being cheaper. So I definitely have a reason to go back now!

The casino during the day

View of surrounding towns

The port of crazy big yachts

Crazy Big yachts

The CRAZIEST BIG yacht. Cruise ship big.

Back/Side of the casino and Back of Hotel Paris

Parked in front of the Casino

More cars...

Probably the 30th Bently we saw...

It's a Mercedes like Sam's old FAO Schwars' car!

Back of the casino

Again..

Close up of the back...

I wish that crazy old lady wasn't in the picture...she kind of ruined it

View from the back of the casino

Helipad behind the casino

HUGE Sailboat in the water

water...

water...

water...

I want to move here so bad!!

The water was so clear you could see to the bottom. This picture looks like we're close, but I was probably 50 to 60 feet above the water. The rocks were huge.

Life is good!

We arrived in Nice after a pretty grubby bus ride. And maybe we should have gone here first, because compared to Monaco...it's a lot less beautiful. I'm sure I'll change my mind once we're on the beach though. I can't wait! It'll be my only beach vacation this year. So we're going to bed in a few minutes (around 8 pm) so we can wake up and go as soon as possible. I'll talk to you soon!

Love and miss y'all!
Allie
