Hey everyone! Today was just as awesome as I'd hoped. The weather was amazing, even a little chilly! My tour guide was just as hilarious as yesterday, and the tour was so interesting. It's so incredible to be in a place that has been around for thousands of years. I really can't believe how lucky I am to get to experience all these things, not just once, but twice! After the tour we went to see the Trevi Fountain and then had the best meal we've had since coming to Italy. I got a fettuccine pasta with a tomato and basil sauce that was to die for. And after dinner we went back to the Colosseum to take pictures of it while it was lit up at night. It was so gorgeous! That was one of the things I really regretted not doing last year, so I'm really glad we did it tonight. Tomorrow we plan on going to the Pantheon early in the morning, and then making our way towards the Spanish Steps. We get back to Florence around 7 tomorrow night, and all I can think about is getting a kebab from the shop next door. Rome has been awesome but I'll be ready to get "home" tomorrow!

We had such an awesome time this weekend. I'm so glad this was our mandatory trip! Summer school is pretty cool in Italy!
